Immerse your soul in love....

Street Spirit (Fade Out) was featured on Radiohead's second studio album The Bends, which was released in 1995. Noted by singer-songwriter and guitarist Thom Yorke as "one of [the band's] saddest songs" and describing it as "the dark tunnel without the light at the end", "Street Spirit" reached number five on the UK Singles Chart.

Lead singer Thom Yorke said...
"Our fans are braver than I to let that song penetrate them, or maybe they don't realise what they're listening to. They don't realise that 'Street Spirit' is about staring the fucking devil right in the eyes, and knowing, no matter what the hell you do, he'll get the last laugh. And it's real, and true. The devil really will get the last laugh in all cases without exception, and if I let myself think about that too long, I'd crack. "

The music video for "Street Spirit" was filmed during two nights in a desert just outside Los Angeles.

Long time no hear ???

Welllllll...it has been a very strange and difficult time for me.....
But I am back now and I have things to share with you....

First things first though...

Depeche Mode tribute.....
All time favourite song ...
ever !!!!

"Enjoy the Silence" was Depeche Mode's twenty-fourth UK single, released on 5 February 1990, and the second single from the then upcoming album Violator.
Many people consider this as Depeche Mode's signature song.

All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm

Hope this works !

Saltwater by Chicane

Saltwater by Chicane (aka Nick Bracegirdle) featuring also Máire Brennan (sister of Enya), was released as a single in 1999. It reached the #6 position on the UK Singles Chart and become a popular dance track in clubs across Europe.
This great song came together with an even grater video clip. The "Saltwater" music video, incorporating images of surfing juxtaposed with the frenzy of a nightclub was filmed in February.
The girl playing on that clip (Kelly England) tells the story of how she got the part and how the filming of the clip went. The surfing scenes were shot along the Cornwall coastline, the location of many beaches that are popular surfer destinations. The club scenes were shot at a studio on Old Street in London as well at the actual Gatecrasher club in Sheffield.
I am proud to say that I actually did crash the Gatecrasher club in that year (1999). Me, Efthimis (R.I.P.), Natalie and Cristina a very incompatible but genuine company having a great night out!
It has been (since then) and will always be, one of my most favorite tracks of all time.
